Guitare Verre et Bouteille, 1982 Pablo Picasso Estate Collection Lithograph

A simple cubist still life composition by Pablo Picasso entitled 'Guitare Verre et Bouteille.' This artwork was originally painted by the artist in 1919 and features a guitar, bottle and vase on an abstract geometric background in neutral colors. A lithograph poster from the Marina Picasso estate collection this is from a limited edition of 1000 prints produced in 1982. Size: 22 x 29 inches, with an estate approved signature in the plate below the image

After Pablo Picasso's death in 1973, his granddaughter Marina Picasso inherited some select works of art from his personal collection. Marina commissioned the execution and printing of these original lithographs,  known as the Picasso Estate Collection.

Master Chromist Marcel Salinas was commissioned for the endeavor, as he worked closely with Picasso in his lifetime. The original works were a variety of oil paintings, pastels, charcoal drawings and watercolors.

The Lithographs are printed in a limited edition of 500 on first-quality Arches paper. To ensure authenticity, each of the 500 limited edition Lithographs is numbered and signed by Marina Picasso in pencil, and is stamped with the embossed seal of the estate and the chromist.

This Lithograph has been professionally framed in a silver leaf wooden frame.
