Condition 
The majority of items we sell are vintage, unless otherwise stated. Some signs of wear are expected, including items described as in excellent vintage condition. We strive to disclose all signs of wear. If you have any questions about a piece and it’s condition, please contact us for additional photos and details.

Returns
Please understand that all sales are final. If you have any hesitations prior to purchase or would like more details, we would love to share more photos and answer any questions!  South Loop Loft neither assumes nor offers any warranty on vintage, or refinished/reupholstered items after they are retrieved from its studios.

Shipping & Handling

South Loop Loft provides shipping + delivery services locally in throughout the Chicago area, the US and Internationally. South Loop Loft contracts Third Party Delivery Providers for White Glove Delivery services. The listed purchase price does not include the the cost of shipping or delivery. Please contact our team for a quote.

White Glove Delivery time frames throughout the US range from 1 - 4 weeks, depending on the delivery location. Responsibility for the goods transfers to the Third Party Delivery Provider at the time of pickup from our showroom or warehouse.

If using a third-party receiver, clients acknowledge the receiving party takes full responsibility for the condition of pieces at the point of delivery if no defects are documented directly with the carrier. On request, customers may also coordinate their own shipping directly with the carrier of their choice by making all arrangements for pick-up and packaging requirements. Carriers arranged by customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of pick-up.

Local Pickup

Goods must be picked up from our showroom or warehouse 7 days from the commitment of the sale. Pick up hours are Tuesday - Friday 10-6pm and Saturday, 11-4pm. Purchased items left at South Loop Loft over 7 business days without payment for additional services will be assessed a daily storage fee of $10 per item per day, billable upon pickup. Items left over 30 Calendar days will become the property of South Loop Loft, with no credits or refunds issued. Customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of pick-up

Small Items 
Will ship via Fedex, UPS or USPS within five business days following payment. 

Large Items 
Will ship via White Glove door-to-door delivery and may take two to six weeks to reach their destination. If an item requires expedited shipping, additional costs will incur. We work with several reliable White Glove Delivery Providers who travel between Chicago and the East Coast bi-weekly; as well as the West Coast. We are happy to work with the shippers of your choice should you have a preference. 

Damage 
All items shipped via Fed Ex, UPS or USPS are insured up the allowable value. All items shipped via White Glove Delivery Providers are covered under the insurance of the White Glove Delivery Provider. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please let us know immediately so we can begin the claim process. Please take photos of the damage and shipping material and keep the original shipping packaging.
