Saint Gobain Square Glass Coffee Table, France 1970s
A striking 1970s square coffee table sourced from the south of France. This coffee table features a Saint Gobain sand-cast glass top in a unique muted green hue, which is securely fastened by four brass fixtures at each corner. The base of the table is constructed from patinated black iron, with a central pedestal leading to four legs that provide stability and balance. France, 1970s.
Saint Gobain has been manufacturing glass in a small village in northern France since 1693. The mirrors in the famous Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles were supplied by Saint Gobain.
