The ‘La Cachette’ chair by Charlotte Perriand is a rare design, originally created for Hotel La Cachette at Les Arcs 1600 in the French Alps in 1968. Its low-profile silhouette and robust, minimalist construction reflect Perriand’s philosophy of functional design. The chair features a cylindrical solid oak frame, emphasizing clean lines and organic materials with geometric clarity.
Freshly reupholstered in textured wool bouclé, the cushions offer a soft, inviting feel, adding a layer of comfort that enhances its warm alpine aesthetic. Designed for comfort and versatility, the chair was originally intended for fireside seating in the communal areas of Hotel La Cachette.
