Italian Brass & Biomorphic Glass Side Table, 1970s
Effortlessly sculptural yet refined, this Italian side table marries the solidity of hand-welded metal with the grace of a floating glass top. Three slender brass legs arc upward into a fluid tripod base, their lines converging to cradle a biomorphic pane of tempered glass—curved and asymmetric, like a pool of still water.
Its polished edge catches the light, extending subtly beyond the frame, while the brass base shows a warm, time-softened patina. Ideal beside a lounge chair, in a powder room, or anchoring an entry vignette, it brings a whisper of 1970s Milanese modernism to any setting.
