The ‘Circe P28’ wall sconce, designed by Toso, Massari & Associates for Leucos, showcases a clean, modern silhouette. Crafted from hand-blown amber glass with a polished brass base, its gently curved form provides upward and diffused illumination, casting a warm, inviting glow.
Renato Toso (born 1940 in Murano) and Giovanna Noti Massari (born 1939 in Venice) both graduated in Architecture in Venice and married in 1968. They live and work in Zero Branco, focusing on architecture, furniture, renovation, and design. Their connection with Leucos is deeply personal, as they helped found the company, drawing on their early experiences in Renato’s family glass-making shop, Fratelli Toso.
Their work has been showcased in solo exhibitions at Palazzo Grassi in Venice and in group exhibitions at prestigious institutions such as the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, and MoMA. Over the years, they have received numerous international awards and recognitions for their contributions to design and architecture.
