Petite French Wrought Iron Vanity Chair in Amber Velvet, 1940s
A petite 1940s wrought iron vanity chair, reflecting the influence of post-war French design. This era saw designers like Gilbert Poillerat and Jean-Charles Moreux working extensively with wrought iron in decorative furniture.
Its delicate, curvilinear frame is accented with scrollwork details and patinated brass finials. The plush seat cushion has been freshly reupholstered in Holly Hunt’s luxurious Cloud Nine Velvet in Amber, adding warmth to its hand-forged silhouette.
Fabric Details:
Cloud Nine is a performance polyester velvet with the look and feel of silk, meeting the practical and aesthetic needs of both residential and contract environments, with a slight sheen to the yarns. This velvet pile is 100% Polyacrylic with a ground composition of 100% Polyester. It is bleach cleanable. 75,000 Wyzenbeek double rubs.
