Built in northern Spain during the 1960s revival of traditional Castilian woodworking, this six‑foot sideboard marries centuries‑old craft with mid‑century practicality. Solid pine is hand‑carved into bold, recessed squares—a pattern lifted from 17th‑century Spanish coffered doors—while black wrought‑iron hinges, latches, and pulls nod to the region’s forge work.
Arched feet lighten the stance and, at just 14 ¼ inches deep, the piece slides easily behind a sofa, grounds a hallway, or serves as a dining‑room buffet. Four drawers top generous cupboards, keeping linens, serveware, or media components neatly out of sight.
The result is everyday storage with a proven Spanish pedigree—warm, textural, and ready to add a touch of Old‑World character to modern rooms.
