Vintage French Ceramic Coffee Table

$1,800.00

A vintage Brutalist French coffee table in the style of Roger Capron and Maison Regain, featuring an artisanal pine wood base. The tabletop stands out with its pressed gilt geometric design, reminiscent of gilt ceramics by French artist Georges Pelletier. The combination of sturdy, pure pine wood with an abstract modernist motif evokes the craftsmanship seen in the work of Pierre Chapo and other masters of mid-century French design.

Sourced in the South of France, we estimate this piece dates to the 1960s. Its pressed green metal tabletop, with an oxidized finish designed to emulate ceramic, adds depth and character—making it a rare and striking example of French Brutalist aesthetics.
