Outstanding coffee table made by the talented sculptor Jean-Jacques Argueyrolles in the 1990s. A unique style specific to the artist with a geometrically patterned decoration. Remarkable metalwork with the combination of iron, bronze and gold leaf.
Jean-Jacques Argueyrolles was born in 1954 near Paris. He works on bronze, stone, iron and wood and designs furniture lines (minimalist-baroque) while creating sculptures and monumental sculptures. He considers Dali, Tapiès and Moore as his art masters. But Argueyrolles considers himself as an « autodidact » (self-made man), which also explains his atypical artwork.
Argueyrolles loves traveling and gets his inspiration also from the «outside ». « I don't do art the regular way, but I believe in giving dreams and selling dreams ».
