A stunning Italian secretary desk in the style of Aldo Tura. This desk features a lacquered parchment finish in a deep brown hue with subtle color variations. Based on the 18th century escritoire, this Mid Century beauty has a curved retractable top which opens to reveal four compartments and two small drawers with round brass pulls. A hidden shelf extends outwards, making it a versatile piece for desktop use and displaying your vanity treasures. It features polished brass trim details and has ample storage space with four lower drawers. It was acquired from a jeweler's estate in Italy, 20th Century.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. A minor scuff on the pull out desk surface and scratch on the sliding door can be seen in photographs.
