A vintage ‘Pilotis’ ottoman designed by French interior and furniture designer Christian Liaigre for Holly Hunt in 1995. This piece features a sleek square black metal base with tubular legs and an X-support bar. It has an upholstered seat in original cognac Edelman leather with stitch detailing, which appears to float above the frame. This piece has great scale and is perfect for styling trays and books. Unmarked. 1990s.

DIMENSIONS: 48"W x 48"D x 15"H

CONDITION: Great vintage condition. Minor wear to the metal base includes marks and scuffs, which are concentrated on the legs. A beautiful patina to the original leather upholstery, which was professionally conditioned. One small tear to the leather upholstery on the edge of the seat was professionally repaired and largely inconspicuous. Additional wear to the leather includes minor scuffs and abrasions, concentrated on the corners and edges of the seat.
