A vintage French table lamp featuring a sculptural base constructed with lucite and a porous travertine block with a raw, chiseled edge. This lamp has brass hardware and a tubular, patinated brass stem, which is inserted in the clear lucite base. Unmarked. Sourced in France, 20th Century.

DIMENSIONS: 8.5”W x 4.25”D x 14”H to Socket; 20.5”H with Shade

CONDITION: Great vintage condition. Minor wear and discoloration to the lucite is concentrated along the bottom of the base. The unfilled travertine has some porous movement within the stone that is natural and inherent to this type of stone. A beautiful patina to the brass hardware and stem. This lamp was professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new socket and cord with an inline switch. Accepts one standard base light bulb. Lampshade is not included.
