Stitched Leather Bamboo Motif Floor Lamp, France 1970s
A beautiful stitched faux leather floor lamp featuring an incredible reproduction of bamboo through metal working. This floor lamp with a complete brass internal structure is a great interpretation of art déco, tracing its inspirations to nature and reproducing its geometries and organicity. The various sections of the “bamboo” inspired stem are covered in a leather look vinyl. Sourced in France.
DIMENSIONS: 12"W x 12"D x 63.75"H
CONDITION: This lamp was professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new brass socket and black fabric cord with an inline switch. A beautiful patina to the brass detailing and visible patina to parts of the stitched vinyl. Some Indentations along the tubular shaft but are largely inconspicuous due to the stitched vinyl. Does not include lampshade.
