A set of 6 dining chairs designed by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti, Italy in the 1970s. These chairs have chrome metal frames with curved seats in original upholstery.
Giovanni Offredi (1927-2007) was a prominent Italian furniture and product designer recognized for his use of angular lines and exposed wood or metal frames. He began making furniture for the wealthy elite of Milan, and these early designs showcased his mastery of simplistic elegance. In the 1960s, Offredi entered a long running partnership with Saporiti, an Italian design shop and furniture maker, which resulted in many of Offredi’s most iconic designs.

CONDITION: These chairs retain the original fabric; which is worn and ready to be replaced. Upholstery services are available through our Showroom to facilitate in customizing these to fit your needs. The chrome frame has light evidence of wear, as seen in the photos. Some of the chairs have plastic tips at the feet; and some are missing.
