A set of 6 ‘Venus’ dining chairs by Swedish designer Börje Johanson for his family business, Johanson. These chairs feature curved, upholstered egg shaped seats with handsome stitch detailing and removable cushions. They have aluminum swivel tulip bases and retain their original blue vinyl fabric. ‘Johanson Design’ makers mark under seats. Sweden, 1960s.

CONDITION: Great vintage condition. Light oxidation to the tulip bases and several small marks to the upholstered seats are largely inconspicuous.
