Crafted of fine Italian manufacture, this 1950s wooden bookcase, attributed to Paolo Buffa, was sourced from a residence on Lake Como. Made entirely of richly grained walnut, the frame features alternating bands of darker and lighter wood, adding visual depth to its minimalist silhouette.
Generously scaled, the upper section offers open shelving, perfect for displaying books and decorative objects, while the lower section includes two large, key-locking doors with distinctive ribbed detailing, providing concealed storage. The piece is elevated on subtly angled legs—a signature detail found in Paolo Buffa’s cabinets and desks. Unmarked.
