Container 34: The Grand Tour

The Container 34 Collection

Two hundred years ago, ambitious young minds in Europe left home for a year of travel that would change them. They called it The Grand Tour. A slow procession from Paris to Venice. Florence to Rome. Through palazzos washed in afternoon light. Across marble floors worn smooth by centuries. Beneath frescoed ceilings that summoned awe and grandeur.

Along the way, objects were collected — a stone bust, a painted canvas, a carved parquetry chair — totems of your journey. Container 34 is a modern Grand Tour.

A passage through Europe: Sculpture. Furniture. Art. Objects gathered across Europe’s cities and countryside — each carrying the hush of history and the certainty of permanence.
