An Italian gilt bronze desk or petite dining table, crafted circa 1950s–1960s and sourced from the Banci family estate in Florence. The slender metal frame is finished with hand-applied gold leaf, its surface softly catching light—its patina earned through time, not polish.
A rhythmic lattice apron wraps the perimeter like a delicate filigree, while gently arched stretchers and tapering legs speak to Florentine decorative tradition. The smoked glass top hovers above the base, tracing the silhouette of the gilded metal below.
Intimate in scale, the table moves effortlessly between writing desk and dining surface.
