Danish Cream Alpaca Curved Sofa, 1960s
A 1960s Danish loveseat found in the countryside outside Copenhagen, the profile is low and curving, softened by generous proportions and a silhouette designed more for comfort than display.
It is newly upholstered in a luxurious alpaca wool with a long, soft pile, chosen for its warmth, depth, and exceptional hand.
The warm cream of the alpaca sits naturally against the rich tone of the wood. The palette is soft and neutral, but the texture and variation keep it from feeling flat.
Compact enough for an intimate setting, but substantial in presence, it works as a place to settle into rather than simply a piece to look at. In a sitting room, it creates a point of gathering.
