A Taraxacum cocoon pendant light designed by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in the 1960s. This captivating fixture features an enameled steel frame with a “cocoon” sprayed resin shade. When lit, this iconic modernist piece emits an ambient glow. Unmarked.

This pendant is documented in Giuliana Gramigna, Repertorio 1950-2000, Allemandi, Turin, 2003, p. 84.

CONDITION: Great vintage condition, with minor age-related snags and discoloration. This fixture has been professionally rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists with a white vinyl cable to match the original 5” white ceiling plate. Mounting hardware included.
