The 'Porcellino' sofa translated 'Piglet' was designed by Florence Architect Marzio Cecchi for Studio Most in the 1970s.  Known for his sculptural approach to furniture design, this model has the original buttery suede and easily transforms from a sofa to a daybed.  

The Modern silhouette retains its original sand hued suede upholstery and features a slatted wood frame in a warm, cherry finish. The avant-garde design includes patinated metal latches, allowing the backrest to adjust and transform the piece into a daybed. This versatile feature showcases Cecchi's dedication to practical elegance, seamlessly blending comfort with adaptability. Sourced in Italy, 1970s.

Born near Florence in 1940, Marzio Cecchi was immersed in a world of design from an early age. His mother, Giulia Carla Cecchi, was a renowned figure in the fashion world, known for her haute couture creations showcased at Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti in Florence. Marzio pursued architecture and graduated from the University of Florence, becoming a celebrated architect known for his holistic approach. An eclectic and visionary talent, Marzio Cecchi made his mark not only as an architect but also as a designer and artist. Today, his legacy endures through his timeless designs and unique pieces, which remain highly sought after by collectors.
