A 1980s Italian ‘Astragalo’ pedestal base dining table by Antonia Astoria. This table has a 1.25” thick round Carrara marble tabletop with gorgeous gray veining and an elegant bullnose edge. It has a tubular gray metal center column, which is supported by a circular, tiered Carrara marble base. Unmarked. Sourced in France, 1980s.

This table is documented in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna pg. 290.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Several minor scratches to the marble tabletop can be seen in photographs. Slight discoloration and wear to the marble on the table base.
