A beautifully crafted elm sideboard designed by Italian architect Luigi Gorgoni for Roche Bobois in the 1980s. The rectangular silhouette is constructed of warm hued, solid elm with intricate graining and a subtle sheen. This sideboard features a spacious top surface with airplane wing ends and four carved doors that open to reveal central shelves. A large, half-round upper drawer offers additional storage. Giovanni Luigi Gorgoni, born in 1937 in Milano, Italy, is a distinguished designer and architect. A student of renowned figures such as Gio Ponti, Ernesto Nathan Rogers, and Vittorio Gregotti, he honed his craft and graduated in architecture from the prestigious Polytechnic of Milan.

Gorgoni's illustrious career spans a multitude of design disciplines, from architecture and town planning to urban furnishing and product design. His work has not only catered to private clients but also attracted international organizations, governments, and public administrations. In recognition of his significant contributions to design, he was honored with the VIA prize by the French Industry and Design Association in 2007.

To prepare for delivery, please be available during the scheduled window to provide a signature upon receipt. Ensure there is a clear path for the delivery team to navigate to the desired room. Our delivery team cannot move existing furniture within your home.
