A captivating Postmodern storage cabinet attributed to Italian designer Alessandro Mendini for Alessi in the 1980s. The cube silhouette is composed of smooth lacquered wood in a soft, mint green hue and features an etched square patten throughout- giving the piece fascinating depth. An inset glass top rests upon the grey toned surface, and the edges of the frame are accented with silver metal details. Two front drawers with black cone-form pulls open to reveal significant storage space. Unmarked. Italy, 1980s.
