Belgian Brass Bonsai Coffee Table by Willy Daro, 1970s
This stunning brass coffee table features an intricate base in the shape of a bonsai tree and a thick, faceted glass top. Belgium, 1970s.
Willy Daro is a French Postwar artist known for his botanical and floral sculptural forms, as well as his integration of Brutalist style with luxurious natural materials such as fossils and minerals. He founded his factory, Les Nouveaux Ateliers Willy Daro in Brussels in the early 1960s, where he created sophisticated furniture and decor through 1987.
