19th Century Italian Neoclassical Center Table
A 19th Century Italian Neoclassical center table, crafted in rich walnut and adorned with exquisite marquetry. The round tabletop showcases an intricate inlaid design centered with a finely detailed depiction of Saint George on horseback, captured mid-action in a dynamic and artfully composed marquetry medallion. Surrounding the central motif are geometric bands and radiating patterns in contrasting wood tones, creating visual movement.
The solid walnut pedestal base features a turned central column accented with subtle carved detailing, resting on three curved legs that provide both stability and presence.
