A French pedestal from the early 20th century, carved entirely from rose-veined marble.
The defining feature is its Solomonic column, hand carved with a continuous spiral that draws the eye upward in a fluid, deliberate movement. Long associated with Baroque architecture, the twisted form introduces a sense of motion into the weight of the stone.
Cut from a single variety of rose marble, the surface is alive with delicate veining that moves naturally across the column, capital, and base. Every contour has been shaped by hand, allowing the subtle variations of the stone to remain visible and giving the piece a softness that belies its permanence.
Its square plinth and moulded capital frame the column without competing for attention, creating a composition that feels balanced from every angle. Whether positioned beside a fireplace, within an entry hall, or as a standalone accent, it brings height and structure to a room without overwhelming it.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
