Danish Scandinavian Modern Blue Hand-Painted Enamel Mirror No. 01 by Bodil Eje, 1960s
A Danish Scandinavian Modern wall mirror designed by Bodil Hagedorn Eje in the 1960s, where functional form is elevated through the artist's distinctive use of color and surface. The circular mirror is enclosed by a frame of enameled copper plates, gently curved to create a soft, continuous profile.
Each copper segment is hand-painted with vivid abstract patterns, revealing rich variations of blue that shift subtly across the surface. The enamel lends depth and luminosity, making the frame as much an artwork as it is a functional object.
The simplicity of the round form allows the craftsmanship to take focus, with the painted enamel introducing movement and individuality. Labeled on the reverse with the artist's name, the mirror carries the unmistakable hand of its maker.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
