Early 1900s Italian Wrought Iron + Glass Lantern Pendant
A monumental Italian lantern pendant, handcrafted in Italy in the early 1900s. The dome-like form is wrapped in intricate wrought iron filigree—each scroll bent and fixed by hand into a lace-like mesh. Twisted uprights frame textured glass panes, their surface mottled to soften the light within. A cast finial in the shape of a pinecone grounds the base, while a decorative canopy anchors the fixture above.
Glows warmly when lit—atmospheric in an entryway or suspended low above a stair landing.
