A rare 'Fantasma Piccolo' resin floor lamp designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos in the 1960s featuring a sculptural, organic shape. The inner steel structure is powder coated and sprayed with a unique cocoon resin, allowing the striking silhouette to glow with soft, diffused light. The fluted, looped base displays a natural, aged patina throughout. Italy, 1960s.

Tobia Scarpa is an Italian designer and architect known for his cutting-edge, functional designs. Scarpa has collaborated with many Italian and international firms throughout his career, including B&B Italia, Flos, and Fabbian. The designer won the Compasso d'Oro Award in 1969 and The International Forum Design Hanover Award in 1992, along with many other prestigious awards and recognitions. His works are also featured at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
