French Art Deco Lounge Chair in Green Mohair, 1930s
Everything about this 1930s French Art Deco lounge chair is generous, from its wide proportions to the sweeping curve of its arms and oversized rounded back.
The chair has been fully restored by our team, beginning with the structure itself. The original frame was reinforced before being reupholstered in a luxurious moss green mohair. Camel leather welting traces the chair’s curves, bringing definition to the rounded silhouette and an unexpected contrast to the depth of the mohair.
Our restoration team approached the interior with the same attention, retieing the springs by hand and rebuilding the seat with natural coco fiber, following traditional upholstery methods that would have been familiar when the chair was made.
At 41 inches wide, it has the proportions of a chair made to truly settle into. The low wood feet keep the profile grounded, while the enveloping back and substantial arms give it an almost cocooning quality.

White Glove Delivery
Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.
Domestic Shipping
In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
