French Art Deco Wrought Iron + Black Fossil Marble Occasional Table, 1940s
A French Art Deco occasional table from the 1940s, with a hand-hammered wrought iron base and black fossil marble top.
Compact in scale but rich in detail, the base is composed of intersecting loops and elongated scrolls, giving the piece a sculptural, almost jewelry-like quality. The hammered iron has a warm bronze-toned patina that settles into the texture, highlighting each curve and contour.
Above, the black fossil marble top adds contrast and weight. Cool and polished, the stone is patterned with subtle organic veining and natural fossil-like markings that make each piece unique.
Despite the intricacy of the ironwork, the silhouette feels open and airy. Beautiful beside a chair, between two seats, or used as a small accent table, it brings shape, texture, and character to a room.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
