French Art Deco Wrought Iron + Marble Side Table, 1940s
The hand-worked metalwork is what first drew us to this 1940s French Art Deco side table.
Traditionally known as a guéridon, its iron leaves gather around the center and continue down toward the floor, where larger brass leaves wrap around the circular frame. Smaller brass buds appear in between, creating a botanical motif that changes as you move around the table.
The darkened iron and warm brass have developed a rich patina over time, with hammered and incised details that make the maker’s hand especially visible. Above, a round marble top introduces another layer of color, with soft blush and cream tones crossed by fine rust-colored and white veining.
At 20 inches in diameter, its petite proportions make it an easy piece to place beside a sofa or lounge chair, while the detailed openwork base gives it plenty of interest on its own.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
