French Brass + Alabaster Mosaic Pendant, 1900s
Sourced from a private collection is this French pendant from the early 1900s that reflects the transitional moment at the turn of the century.
Suspended by three brass chains, the form gathers into a shallow alabaster bowl, its surface built from a mosaic of irregular stone fragments. The pieces shift in tone from deep umber to pale cream, creating a natural variation that feels both deliberate and organic. When lit, the alabaster softens, allowing light to pass through in a muted, atmospheric glow.
The brass framework provides structure without interruption. A simple canopy anchors the fixture above, while the chains introduce a vertical rhythm that contrasts with the breadth of the bowl below. Small gilt details punctuate the surface, offering moments of refinement within the larger composition.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
