A 1950s ceramic wall plaque by Louis Giraud, handmade in Vallauris—the picturesque seaside village in the South of France renowned for its pottery. The shallow, sculptural form features a stylized bull’s head rendered in black against swirling bands of ochre, ivory, and earthy red. 

Mounted within a blonde wood frame with a charcoal backing, the piece reads as both artwork and object, giving dimensionality to the wall.
