This piece became widely recognized after being featured in Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey, where it contributed to the film’s visionary, ultra-modern aesthetic. The name "Djinn" references supernatural beings in Middle Eastern mythology, emphasizing the chair’s floating, ethereal form. It is also part of the permanent collections at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
