French Gilt 2-Tier Iron Sconce with Frosted Glass Shades, 1940s
A French wall sconce from the 1940s, hand-wrought in iron and finished in warm gilt. Rising just over 28 inches tall, the piece unfurls in an intricate composition of looping scrolls and slender curves, punctuated by small celadon-green spherical accents.
Four arms extend from the central framework, each holding a flared frosted-glass shade with scalloped metal collars. The finish carries the gentle wear of time, with a patina that enriches the gilt and green tones.
When lit, the sconce casts a diffused, atmospheric glow, highlighting the interplay of line, light, and negative space that defines the form. Grand in scale yet airy in presence, it complements an entryway, dining room, or hallway.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
