French Green-Painted Iron + Églomisé Mirror Side Table, 1940s - 2 Available
A French side table from the 1940s, defined by a quiet tension between delicate metalwork and reflective surface.
The green-painted iron base is formed with slender, looping curves, giving the structure an almost drawn quality. The legs sweep outward and inward in a continuous rhythm, creating an open silhouette that feels light despite the table’s grounded presence.
Above it, an églomisé mirror top introduces a subtle sense of depth. Set within a darker wood-toned frame, the reflective surface catches the light while keeping the palette restrained—green, aged brown, and muted silver.
The scale is intimate, suited to the spaces between larger pieces. Beside a chair, it becomes a place for a lamp or a small arrangement; in a bedroom, it reads as an accent; in an entry, its reflective surface adds a quiet glimmer without demanding attention.
Sold and priced individually.
