A French nightstand from the 1940s, sourced in Paris, the silhouette is defined by gentle curves and slender, fluted oak legs that lend the piece an unexpected sense of height.
The rounded façade softens its geometry, while a single drawer, framed in richly toned mahogany and finished with a discreet brass pull, introduces warmth and subtle contrast.
Crafted from oak and mahogany, the interplay of light and dark timber reflects the restrained craftsmanship of French furniture from the period. Decorative carving is used sparingly, allowing texture and proportion to take precedence over ornament.
