French Oak + Rush Low Stool, 1950s
A French low stool from the 1950s, carved in oak with a rush seat. The circular top is tightly woven in rush, its warm natural tone contrasting with the dark patina of the turned legs and stretchers.
Compact in scale yet full of character, it works well as a fireside seat, a low table for stacked books, or layered into a rustic interior.
