Italian Adjustable Chrome Floor Lamp with Stone Base, 1970s

$4,400.00

What makes this 1970s Italian floor lamp so interesting is the adjustable chrome arm. Fully extended, it creates a long, wave-like line; pushed together, the arm forms a tighter loop, allowing the shape of the lamp to change entirely.

The off-white metal shade is detailed with horizontal cutouts that allow light to filter through when illuminated. We especially love how the substantial stone base grounds the movement of the chrome above, an unexpected contrast that makes the design all the more interesting.

DIMENSIONS: 13"W x 14"D x 61"H

ADDITIONAL DIMENSIONS: Base: 9" x 10.5"

ORIGIN: Italy

PERIOD: 1970s

MATERIALS: Stone,Metal,Chrome

CONDITION: Great overall vintage condition. Minor scratches and scuffs along the shade. The chrome arm displays a light patina that aligns with age and use. This lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new clear cord, plug, and foot switch. A polished chrome pull-chain was also recently added. Accepts one standard light bulb.
