An Italian iron dining chair from the 1970s, with Art Nouveau-inspired curves and a tall, open back that gives the piece a vertical presence.
The back rises from the seat in two slender lines, narrowing through the center before opening into rounded shoulders and a gently dipped crest. Its outline feels almost drawn in space, allowing the room beyond to remain visible. Below, four subtly bowed legs continue the movement, joined by a low stretcher with softly rounded corners.
The iron carries a warm bronze-toned finish, with darker recesses and areas of wear that reveal the texture beneath. Repeated grooves cover the frame, alternating direction around the seat rail to create a woven effect. This closely worked surface brings detail to a silhouette that appears spare from a distance.
Deep green velvet covers the rounded seat and a small padded backrest suspended within the open frame. The fabric softens the metal, its shifting pile introducing lighter moss tones alongside darker green.
At a dining table, beside a writing desk, or placed against a pale wall, the chair brings height and rhythm without visually enclosing the space.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
