Italian Brass Table Lamp by Luciano Frigerio, 1970s

$1,900.00

A square Italian brass table lamp by Luciano Frigerio, dating to the 1970s. The solid brass base is formed as a compact cube, its surface articulated with deeply cast geometric reliefs that introduce rhythm and depth.

Paired with a newly tailored white shade, the lamp presents a considered contrast between textured metal and crisp fabric. When illuminated, it casts a soft, focused glow that accentuates the sculptural quality of the brass, making it well suited to a desk, side table, or console.

Luciano Frigerio (1928–1999) was an Italian designer and craftsman known for his distinctive approach to furniture and decorative objects that bridged modernism and artisanal tradition. Working primarily in wood, metal, and stone, Frigerio’s designs are characterized by strong geometric forms, rich materials, and an emphasis on sculptural presence.

His work from the 1960s and 1970s reflects a deep engagement with architecture and craftsmanship, earning him recognition as a key figure in postwar Italian design.
