An Italian ceramic wall plaque by Leandro Lega, produced in Faenza in the 1960s–70s.
Formed in relief, the elongated surface is built up by hand—pressed, carved, and layered to create a shifting, almost topographic composition. The glaze moves between saturated turquoise and oxidized red, breaking along the raised edges and settling into the recesses, giving the piece its depth and variation.
A dotted border frames the form, reinforcing its presence as an object rather than something purely functional. Though tray-like in shape, it reads more as a wall piece—graphic, expressive, and rooted in the material.
Lega’s work is known for its intuitive approach and richly fired glazes, often using reduction techniques to achieve depth and variation in color—something that comes through clearly here.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
