An Italian accent chair from the 1960s–70s, sourced from the family estate of Banci Lighting in Florence, and defined by its sculptural gold-leafed iron frame and saddle-style leather seat. The form draws from the curule and Savonarola lineage—hand-forged curves sweeping into an X-base, anchored by floral rosettes and resting on petite, paw-like feet.
A band of thick cognac leather shapes the backrest, secured with brass fasteners; below, a suspended leather sling forms a gently bowed seat that softens the chair’s profile. The gold-leaf surface is warm, textured, and unmistakably crafted by hand. An elegant accent on its own or styled as an occasional chair.
