Italian ‘Model 401’ Armchair Attributed to Cassina Ufficio Tecnico, 1940s - 2 Available

$4,800.00

An Italian 'Model 401' armchair from the 1940s, attributed to Cassina Ufficio Tecnico. The generously proportioned seat and gently reclined backrest are fully upholstered, offering a tailored silhouette softened by rows of individually set metal tacks that trace the back seams.

Slim, sculpted wooden arms extend in a continuous curve from the back to the front supports, their warm walnut-toned patina framing the upholstery. Tapered legs anchor the composition, lending the chair a light, architectural presence.

Ideal for a study, lounge, or office setting, it stands as both a functional seating piece and a testament to mid-century Italian design.
