A 1960s Italian lounge chair, echoing the style of Osvaldo Borsani. Its generously proportioned form is defined by clean lines and an angular silhouette, capturing the essence of mid-century modernism. Reupholstered in sumptuous burgundy alpaca mohair, the tactile richness complements its minimal shape. This chair is grounded by splayed black metal legs with brass sabots.

Osvaldo Borsani (1911–1985) was an Italian designer and architect born into a family of fine furniture makers. He studied fine arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan before pursuing architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. In 1943, he designed his own house in Varedo, Villa Borsani, which has since been preserved and now serves as an archive of his work.

This item ships via White Glove Delivery.
