Set of 6 French Rush + Oak Dining Chairs, 1940s
A set of six French dining chairs dating to the 1940s, crafted in oak with handwoven rush seats. The tall backs feature geometric lattice cutouts framed by vertical rush panels, a composition that highlights both line and texture. Carved details run down the front legs, ending in small rounded feet that lift the profile lightly from the ground.
The rush seats are woven in a four-part pattern, their natural variations adding warmth to the deep oak frames. Solid and enduring, these chairs embody the rustic craftsmanship of mid-20th century French design.
