French Wood + Leather Accent Chair, 1920s - 2 Available
A French accent chair from the 1920s, defined by its tall profile the wood frame rises into a narrow, high-backed silhouette with clipped upper corners, giving the chair a particularly strong vertical presence.
Long, sweeping arms extend gracefully from the back, creating a fluid counterpoint to the geometry of the form. Original dark burgundy, or oxblood, leather covers the seat and back, its aged surface carrying the warmth and character of nearly a century of use.
Rows of nailhead trim frame the upholstery, an integral detail of the period construction that adds a subtle metallic punctuation against the deep leather.
The carved woodwork is where the chair's Art Deco character becomes most apparent. Repeating rectangular divisions run along the seat rails, while long recessed and fluted details descend the legs, creating a rhythm of vertical and geometric lines.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
